The Underspin Backhand Lob

The Underspin Backhand Lob

The racquet is open with the path of the racquet traveling up in a short compact motion to measure the distance the lob need to travel. The goal is to get the ball just out of the reach of the player and have him or her to run back to get the ball. The key is the disguise of the movement of the racquet to make it look like a slice backhand or drop shot. The key is the player will not be able to read the movement and protect the shot. the finish is upward and forward to get the ball back in the back court and win the point.
